Social Welfare Management Research Center has started its activities in July 2013, based on the authorization of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education, in the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences. Before that and since year 2000, this Center named as the Social Welfare Research Centre has been associated with social welfare as the first research institution in the country. The regular publication of the Journal of Social Welfare which was launched since 2001, so far continues. The Journal has been received academic accreditation from the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in 2002.
