A Technology Expert at the University has been formally appointed as Iran’s Honorary Ambassador to the World Organization for Creativity, Innovation, and Inventions.
Alireza Salmani, a Technology Expert at the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, has officially been appointed as Iran’s Honorary Ambassador to the World Organization for Creativity, Innovation, and Inventions (OCIIP) for the period 2025–2027.
According to the university’s Public Relations Office, the text of the official appointment, issued by Michael Owong, President of OCIIP, states:
“This title reflects your proven commitment to advancing innovation, creativity, and awareness of intellectual property in your profession and community. Your leadership track record and influence have made you an ideal representative for the values and mission of this global innovation organization.”
As an Honorary Ambassador, you are tasked with promoting our core initiatives and expanding the organization’s programs at national and international levels. You will serve as a key liaison between the organization and your professional and regional networks, reinforcing our shared vision of promoting inclusive and impactful innovation across borders. Your leadership will undoubtedly contribute to a stronger innovation ecosystem—one that empowers inventors, fosters creativity, and drives sustainable progress.
The appointment underscores the importance of advancing innovation, creativity, and awareness of intellectual property, as well as networking and the creation and expansion of a culture of pervasive innovation. The World Organization for Creativity, Innovation, and Inventions (OCIIP) is an international entity dedicated to identifying and supporting innovative ideas and inventions worldwide.
