Activities of Scientific-Promotional Chairs Launched at the University
In line with the promotion of knowledge and the strengthening of research infrastructures, the first meeting of the Scientific-Promotional Chairs of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences was held at the university's Growth Center, with the participation of professors and specialists, on the topic of The Position of Modern Rehabilitation in Development and Entrepreneurship.
According to the report from the university's web correspondent, quoting the university's Deputy of Research and Technology, this meeting, themed The Position of Modern Rehabilitation in Development and Entrepreneurship, was held at the Rehabilitation Technology Growth Center building with the presence of university faculty members and honorable guests.
In this session, which was held to review and critique scientific theories and was hosted by faculty members and experts in the health field, Dr. Reza Eskooizadeh, a faculty member of the university's Ergonomics Department, delivered a research presentation regarding Rehabilitation, its Smartification, and Business Enhancement in the field of Rehabilitation.
Following this, Dr. Seyed Farhad Tabatabaei Qomsheh, a faculty member of the university's Ergonomics Department, and Dr. Fatemeh Ghasemi Fard, a faculty member of the Occupational Therapy Department, served as scientific critics, presenting supplementary points and existing challenges after a detailed review of the research aspects.
It is worth mentioning that the establishment of these chairs follows the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the university and the Support Board for Scientific-Promotional Chairs under the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution. Accordingly, the Chancellor, as the head of the institutional committee, has been appointed and has introduced the members of the executive team to facilitate the holding of scientific sessions, theorizing, and debates.
The goal of this scientific movement is to become a platform for the critique and review of vital issues in the fields of rehabilitation, mental health, and social health, so that the university's mission in promoting knowledge is fulfilled in the best possible way.
