Drafting of the national rehabilitation services policy package by university faculty, /Full readiness of the university to commence the new academic year
The National Rehabilitation Services Policy Package, drafted by university faculty and researchers, has been prepared, and a copy has been sent to the Minister of Health for review and implementation.
Reported by the university’s Web Daily correspondent, the university's Board of Trustees of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, chaired by Dr. Seyed Ali Hosseini, held the meeting.
In this session, the Chancellor of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences referred to the university’s full readiness for the new academic year. He expressed gratitude to Dr. Khoram Khorshid, the Vice Chancellor for Education, for meticulous planning to commence the new academic year and for arranging the delayed examinations caused by the 12-day war.
Dr. Hosseini also highlighted the successful national conference on Scientometrics and stated, “Ministry of Health officials rated the conference’s organization as excellent.” He further appreciated the efforts of Dr. Khanjani and his team in organizing the conference.
The Chancellor of the university announced that a meeting was held with the management of the country's Welfare Organization in the Legal Affairs Directorate of the Presidential Administration. He added: “According to the Legal Affairs Directorate of the Presidential Administration, the Imam Hussein dormitory, located on Mazandaran Street, will be issued in the name of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, and we are currently planning to obtain the ownership deed for this building.”
He then reported that the policy package for rehabilitation services in the country has been drafted by university faculty and said, “This package has been prepared with the efforts of Dr. Khankeh, Dr. Abdi, and other faculty members, and a copy has been sent to the Minister of Health. Rehabilitation must be given priority within the national health system.”
Dr. Hosseini also stated that the national rehabilitation deed is being prepared and clarified: “This document is in the preparation stage and will be reviewed at the first meeting of the High Council of Health with the presence of the President.”
Concluding, the Chancellor highlighted the economic challenges and stressed the importance of focusing on a resilience-based economy. He ordered the optimal use of the university’s facilities and infrastructure and urged the necessary planning for revenue generation.
