The executor of the Comprehensive Risk Management Document for accidents and disasters, during a specialized seminar in this field, noted Iran's position among the top 10 countries in the world for producing scientific evidence for disaster management, stating that the implementation of this document is more than just a legal text; it is a national necessity to preserve human capital and reduce massive damages.
According to a report by the University's Web-Day reporter, Dr. Hamidreza Khanke, during the seminar on Challenges and Executive Solutions for the Comprehensive Risk Management Document for Accidents and Disasters in the Health System, emphasized the vital importance of this document in preserving human capital and public health. Given the current state of natural and man-made accidents in the country, he described its implementation as a form of jihad in the path of health.
Referring to shocking statistics regarding damages caused by traffic accidents and natural disasters, which consume a large portion of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), he called for transparency in the duties of various agencies and added: This document has been formulated with a systemic approach so that, in addition to coordination in the Chain of Command, it focuses on strengthening the Chain of Coordination and promoting cross-sectoral and public participation.

Emphasizing the need to expand the concept of resilience from macro to micro levels, Dr. Khankeh highlighted the strategic slogan: Every house, a resilience unit. He said: Our goal is that risk management is not limited to organizations, but rather that this knowledge and preparedness extend to the level of families as well.
Designing a national dashboard and establishing the National Risk Management Commission
The Director of the Health Research Center in Accidents and Disasters announced plans to design a national dashboard for real-time monitoring of the country's preparedness level, based on the indicators in this document. He added: Relying on its experience in designing incident registration systems, the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences is ready to play its pivotal role in establishing the National Risk Management Commission.
He concluded by noting: With the final issuance of this document, we will enter the operational phase in the provinces so that, by utilizing modern tools such as a national dashboard and continuous reporting to national and international organizations, the level of progress and the country's resilience can be accurately assessed.
