The book Applied Qualitative Research Methodology, authored by Dr. Hamid Reza Khankeh, a faculty member at the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences (USWR), has been published by the prestigious Cambridge Scholars Publishing

According to the university's Web Day reporter, "Applied Qualitative Research Methodology" was released as a comprehensive and systematic guide for health researchers. This work is the result of three years of full-time academic effort and nearly 20 years of the author's experience in qualitative studies, aiming to provide a clear and practical framework for conducting qualitative research in medical and health sciences.

This book was authored with the collaboration of several professors from USWR and other medical universities across the country. It explains the qualitative research process step-by-step—from philosophical foundations to various approaches and methods—using real-world examples. "Applied Qualitative Research Methodology" is designed to serve as both an educational and operational resource for young researchers, postgraduate students, and faculty members.

The work introduces and details widely-used qualitative research methods, including content analysis, grounded theory, phenomenology, ethnography, historical research, action research, and mixed methods. Furthermore, it examines ethical considerations and the real-world challenges of research in the healthcare sector.

The book consists of 12 chapters and 430 pages and is available internationally at approximately £78.99.

Dr. Khankeh expressed hope that this work would play an effective role in enhancing the quality of qualitative research, developing research methodology in health sciences, and strengthening the scientific standing of universities and the country's research system.

We extend our congratulations to Dr. Hamid Reza Khankeh, Director of the Health in Emergency and Disaster Research Center at the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, and to the country's scientific community, and wish him and all researchers continued success in the fields of science and knowledge.
