Dr. Hamidreza Khorram Khorshid, the Vice-Chancellor for Educational Affairs at the University, in a message commemorating the start of the new academic year, congratulated university members, especially new students, and expressed hope that our dear country Iran, will soon be on a global standing in science and technology, and that the prominence of science and ethics in universities will continue to rise.
According to the university's Web Daily, as the month of Mehr arrives and the new academic year begins, Dr. Khorram Khorshid, the Vice-Chancellor for Educational Affairs at the university, issued a message to mark the occasion.
Dr. Khorram Khorshid began his remarks with an invocation to God and wrote: “In the name of the God who created the pen and endowed it with the oath of His own, with the help of the Creator who adorned mankind with the beauty of thought and reflection and entrusted this heavenly trust to them, and greetings and salutations to the university colleagues and pioneers of science and knowledge.”
He continued to describe the start of Mehr and the academic year as follows: “In Mehr, the autumn breeze wafts the fragrant scent of spring of education and the flourishing and vitality in the souls of the people of this borderland, and the start of the new academic year heralds the season of science, knowledge, and understanding with zeal and enthusiasm in the country’s scientific and educational centers.”
The Vice-Chancellor for Educational Affairs, while congratulating this season to all university members, especially new students, esteemed professors, and university staff, stressed: “I, while congratulating the start of the academic year to all university members, especially the new students, esteemed professors, and staff, honor this renewed beginning and, with the grace and support of the divine, hope that each day we observe a more prominent position in virtue, knowledge, and ethics across the country, and in the near future we witness Iran, the dear Islamic country, achieving a global standing in science and technology.”
