Ready to Participate in the Treatment and Rehabilitation of Ramadan War Casualties
The Chancellor of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences emphasized the university's readiness to play a role in the treatment and rehabilitation of Ramadan war casualties, in alignment with the institution's specialized duties and mission.
According to a report by the University's WebDa reporter, the 287th meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences was held at the Sina Comprehensive Medical Rehabilitation Center, with all members in attendance.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Hosseini, the University Chancellor, while congratulating the occasion of the Decade of Dignity (Dah-e Keramat), the birth of Lady Masoumeh (SA), and Girls' Day, presented a report on the university's actions during the Ramadan war period.
He noted that regular and continuous inspections of the university's affiliated hospitals and medical centers were conducted during this period to ensure the proper functioning of these facilities.
Dr. Hosseini further stated: The University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences is prepared to actively participate in the treatment and rehabilitation process of Ramadan war casualties, based on its core responsibilities and mission.
The Chancellor also announced that follow-up efforts are underway to activate the Rehabilitation and Technology Center building in Hakimieh.
The meeting was held at the Sina Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center to conduct a field assessment of the infrastructure and necessary measures for preparing the first phase of the center. After touring various sections of the facility, the board members reviewed existing deficiencies and logistical requirements.
At the conclusion of the meeting, members addressed the agenda items and emphasized the need to expedite the rectification of shortcomings and provide the necessary preparations for the operational launch of the center's first phase.
