The first practical guidance workshop for writing research study protocols, specifically for graduate students, was held in the Farabi Hall at the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences.
According to a report from the university’s correspondent, Dr. Hamidreza Khankeh, head of the Department of Health in Emergency and Disaster at the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, said: Today's workshop is in line with the new global perspective on science, which has been underway for years around the world. This new view emphasizes that research, researchers, and knowledge should be answerable and responsible.
The head of the specialized board for the field of Health in Emergency and Disaster at the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education added: Various studies are conducted; these studies must pay attention to the needs and problems of society and address them to provide a better life for people.
During the continuation of the workshop, Dr. Juliette Rodini, a member of the Charité Research Center in Germany, presented topics on the characteristics of open science and meta-science, among others.
It is worth noting that the features of a scientific protocol, protocol writing, characteristics of research, open science, monitoring studies in the country, meta-science, and related topics were discussed and examined during this workshop.
