Chancellor Emphasizes Readiness of All University Departments for the Start of the Academic Year
The Chancellor of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, emphasizing the readiness of all university departments for the start of the new academic year, stressed maximizing existing capacities, increasing productivity, reducing unnecessary costs, and paying attention to the livelihood of the workforce.
According to the report from the university's web correspondent, Dr. Seyed Ali Hosseini, the Chancellor of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, during a board of directors meeting attended by its members, discussed the most important topics raised at the summit of medical science university presidents held in Mashhad, which was attended by the Minister of Health and his deputies. Referring to the themes of this summit, Dr. Hosseini added: The focus of this summit was on the topics of family physicians, resilience in wartime conditions, and resistance. The Chancellor of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences continued: During this summit, issues such as the start of the academic year for universities, livelihood and welfare, as well as matters related to students, were discussed and examined.

Dr. Hosseini stated: At this summit, the Minister of Health emphasized increasing productivity and reducing unnecessary costs. These two issues have been emphasized by me in most university meetings addressed to colleagues and vice chancellors for years, and my constant request is that these matters be observed.
He further identified the livelihood of colleagues and the workforce of the Ministry of Health as other topics raised during the summit, saying: The Minister of Health and the university presidents emphasized the livelihood of colleagues and its priority. Referring to the convening of the university's productivity committee this week with the presence of vice chancellors, the Chancellor of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences said: In this meeting, the issue of revenue resources, particularly in the treatment sector, will be examined.
Dr. Hosseini added: Soon, with the start of the academic year, students will return to the university, and all university departments must be prepared to provide the conditions and welcome the students. He emphasized: All efforts and planning must be carried out with maximum utilization of existing capacities.
University to Host National Scientometrics Conference
Continuing, the Chancellor of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, referring to the hosting of the National Scientometrics Conference on September 9 at the university, stated: We hope to be a good host for the experts and heads of scientometrics from the country's medical science universities. He added: Colleagues in the Research Deputy have made proper arrangements for holding this conference. Dr. Hosseini also referred to the scientific conference on Empowering Nursing Staff held at the university last week, expressing his appreciation and gratitude for the efforts of the Treatment Deputy in organizing this conference.
Following this, the meeting agenda was reviewed, and the members of the board of directors discussed and exchanged views on the presented topics. The meeting concluded with the approval of the relevant resolutions.
