The Chancellor of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, in a message marking August 23 (1st of Shahrivar), the birthday of the sage Avicenna and Doctor's Day, extended his congratulations to the country's medical community, professors, physicians, and the university's students.
According to the report from the university's web correspondent, Dr. Seyed Ali Hosseini, in a message on the occasion of honoring Doctor's Day, noting the valuable position of physicians in preserving, providing, and promoting the health of society, stated: By integrating knowledge, skill, responsibility, and ethical commitment, physicians play an enduring role in reducing the suffering of patients and enhancing the quality of life for the people.
He added: The role of the medical community in the fields of social health and rehabilitation is a prominent manifestation of human service; because the effort to restore independence, capability, hope, and dignity to individuals with health needs is considered an important part of the shared mission of all activists in this field.
The Chancellor of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences also, while honoring the memory of the selfless physicians who dedicated their lives to serving the people and guarding the health of society, emphasized: Appreciating physicians is not merely the celebration of a profession, but rather the upholding of a human and social responsibility that continues even in the most difficult circumstances.
Dr. Hosseini concluded by congratulating all the honorable physicians of the country, faculty members, colleagues, and medical students of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences on Doctor's Day, wishing them success in their path of serving the people, expanding health knowledge, and building a healthier and more empowered society.
