Graduation Ceremony Highlights the Importance of Upholding Professional Ethics for Career Success
During the graduation ceremony for the Class of 1400 at the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, the university chancellor emphasized that adhering to professional ethics is key to long-term success in graduates' careers.
According to a report from the university’s web news agency, the ceremony was held on Monday, June 9, 2025, in the Shaheed Ahmadi Roshan, with the presence of the university chancellor, vice chancellors, administrators, officials, and numerous students.
At the outset of the event, Dr. Seyed Ali Hosseini, the university chancellor, congratulated and welcomed the graduates’ families. He expressed his happiness in celebrating this meaningful day, which coincides with Eid al-Ghadir, emphasizing his pride in the hard work and perseverance of the students who, after overcoming numerous challenges throughout their education, are now ready to serve society as competent professionals.
Dr. Hosseini, with over 35 years of experience in higher education, shared heartfelt advice with the graduates: "Always keep in mind the importance of faith in God and trust in Him as guiding principles in your personal and professional lives. Never forget to honor your parents; their presence, support, and prayers are invaluable assets that illuminate your path. Most importantly, maintaining professional ethics across all aspects of your work is fundamental to establishing credibility and achieving success in your career."
He also announced the establishment of a Graduates’ Center aimed at maintaining continuous engagement between the university and its alumni. “Friends and memories from your undergraduate years are among the most valuable assets in your life—these bonds remain even in the remotest parts of the world. Through this center, we aim to keep our connection alive and stay informed about your progress. Our faculty members are eager to hear about your future successes,” Dr. Hosseini stated.
Ending his remarks, he emphasized the importance of preparing young people for independent living and urged families to provide strong support as their children navigate pathways toward marriage and self-reliance.
