The Chancellor of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, emphasizing that “honest Basij service to the people is the key to realizing national authority,” stated in a message on the occasion of Basij Week that this institution, arising from the heart of the nation, with its conscious presence and its struggle, ensures the security and progress of the country in all arenas.
According to the university’s Web Desk, on the eve of Basij Week, Dr. Seyed Ali Hosseini, Chancellor of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, issued a message.
In this message, referring to the central slogan of this year, under the title “Basij, the People, and National Authority,” it is noted that this slogan once again demonstrates Basij’s unparalleled position in linking the people and strengthening the foundations of society.
The Chancellor of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences described Basij as an institution rooted in the nation’s own fabric, which, in all fields—from health and rehabilitation to science, research, and social activities—plays a role, inspires hope, and accepts responsibility.
Dr. Hosseini, while honoring Basij Week, sincerely appreciated the efforts and valuable collaborations of Basijis at the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences in the scientific, cultural, jihadist, and service-to-vulnerable-populations arenas.
He concluded by expressing hope that, relying on spirituality, knowledge, and social solidarity, they will be more successful than ever in the path of excellence and service to society.
