Iranian Annual Conference on Medical Ethics with a Focus on Enhancing Professional Awareness
The Executive Secretary of the First Annual Conference of the Iranian Medical Ethics Scientific Association said: This scientific event provides an opportunity for dialogue and exchange of views among specialists in various fields to elevate the level of professional ethics in the country’s health system.
According to Dr. Ali Khaji, the Executive Secretary of the First Annual Conference of the Iranian Medical Ethics Scientific Association, and referring to the goals of this scientific event, he stated: This conference aims to raise the level of professional awareness and clarify contemporary ethical issues in medical ethics regarding current societal topics, offering a valuable platform for discussion and exchange of ideas among professionals and practitioners.
The Secretary of the Medical Ethics and Professional Behavior Promotion Task Force at the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences added: The conference will include three specialized sessions on the topics of ethics and professional commitment, youth in the population and ethical considerations, and the principles of ethics and rights in pharmacology, medical devices, and rehabilitation.
Dr. Khaji further noted the neglected area of rehabilitation in the country and said: This conference is being held for the first time at the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, and addressing the topic of ethics in rehabilitation could help resolve many issues in this field.
He also announced the participation of researchers and experts in various fields of rehabilitation sciences, medical sciences, scientific associations, the judiciary, and the Parliament in this scientific event. He added: The results of the First Annual Conference of the Iranian Medical Ethics Scientific Association will be sent to the responsible authorities to present practical and actionable solutions in this area.
This conference is designed for students, faculty, and researchers in various fields of rehabilitation sciences and medical sciences, including rehabilitation, medicine, nursing, public health, dentistry, pharmacy, and other related disciplines.
