Manifestation of Alawite passion and joy in the grand celebration of the auspicious Eid alGhadir

 

Concurrent with the Decade of Wilayah and Imamate, the grand celebration of the auspicious Eid al-Ghadir was held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, in the Shahid Ahmadi Roshan assembly hall of the university, through the efforts of the university's Ghadir Committee, with the presence of the University Chancellor, the head of the office of the Supreme Leader's representative at the university, and a group of professors, staff, and their children.

According to the university web-day reporter, Dr. Seyed Ali Hosseini, Chancellor of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, during this ceremony, while explaining the dimensions of the personality and moral virtues of the Commander of the Faithful, Hazrat Ali (AS), highlighted his position not only among Shiites but also among other sublime and excellent divine religions.

He emphasized the necessity of emulating the lifestyle of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS). He added: The development and promotion of the culture of Wilayah and religious insight in society, especially in scientific and academic environments, is an unavoidable necessity that can serve as a guiding light for the younger generation in recognizing authentic Islamic teachings.

Subsequently, Hojatoleslam wal-Moslemin Nabiallah Fazlali, head of the office of the Supreme Leader's representative at the university, referred to the historical importance of the Ghadir event and explained the content of the Ghadir sermon. 

In a Q&A session, he invited attendees to reflect on the deeper

messages of this historical event and the necessity of maintaining a connection with the culture of Wilayah.

In addition to its spiritual dimensions, the grand celebration of Wilayah and Imamate created a special sense of passion and joy among the attendees through a variety of cultural, artistic, and recreational programs. The performances by the Najm al-Thaqib anthem group and the Golestaneh music group, the holding of in-person competitions with valuable prizes, and the design of various games and sports activities for the children of staff members were among the attractive parts of this ceremony. Following this, winners of the Ghadir book reading competition and top performers in sports competitions were honored with prizes.
