Message from the University Chancellor on National Information Technology Day and the Commemoration of Hakim Khwarazmi

 

Dr. Seyyed Ali Hosseini expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the efforts of colleagues in the university's IT field and medical centers.

According to the university web-day reporter, Dr. Seyyed Ali Hosseini, Chancellor of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, in a message on the occasion of National Information Technology Day and the commemoration of Hakim Abu Ja'far Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarazmi, congratulated specialists and activists in the field of information technology. He praised the valuable and round-the-clock efforts of colleagues in the university's IT units, faculties, medical centers, rehabilitation centers, and other affiliated units in developing digital infrastructures and supporting educational, research, medical, and rehabilitation services.

 

The Chancellor's message stated:

National Information Technology Day, adorned with the name of the prominent Iranian scientist, Hakim Abu Ja'far Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarazmi, is a valuable opportunity to honor the efforts of specialists who, through knowledge, innovation, and commitment, play an effective role in developing technological infrastructures and improving the quality of services.

Today, as one of the main pillars of transformation in the higher education and health systems, information technology plays an irreplaceable role in enhancing education, research, the provision of medical and rehabilitation services, smart management, and facilitating access to services. The continuous provision of secure, accurate, and high-quality services at the university and its affiliated centers is due to the round-the-clock efforts of specialists in this field.

While commemorating this day, I sincerely express my gratitude for the valuable, responsible, and tireless efforts of the esteemed colleagues in the university's information technology field, faculties, medical centers, rehabilitation centers, and all affiliated units, who, with expertise, commitment, and a spirit of service, provide the grounds for system stability, the development of communication infrastructures, information security, and the provision of electronic services.

Undoubtedly, the cooperation and efforts of these dear individuals, alongside other university colleagues, play an important role in improving service quality, increasing the satisfaction of service recipients, and achieving the university's goals on the path of digital transformation and the development of the health system.

I hope that by relying on Almighty God and utilizing new knowledge and technologies, we will witness the increasing progress of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences in the fields of education, research, treatment, rehabilitation, and health services.
