The Chancellor of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, in a message on the occasion of the birth of Fatimah al-Zahra (peace be upon her) and the commemoration of Mother’s Day and Women’s Day, while congratulating this auspicious occasion, praised the prominent roles of women and working mothers across the university’s departments.
According to a report by the university web desk, Dr. Seyed Ali Hosseini, Chancellor of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, in a message marking the birth of Fatimah al-Zahra (PBUH) and the observance of Mother’s Day and Women’s Day, reminded us of the noble status of women and mothers and regarded them as symbols of compassion, faith, and service.
The message states:
The blessed birth of Fatimah al-Zahra (PBUH), the exemplary model of faith, compassion, dignity, and spirituality, is a precious opportunity once again to honor the high status and unparalleled role of mothers and educated women of our beloved homeland.
On this occasion, while warmly congratulating all honorable women, especially esteemed colleagues, precious mothers, and diligent women working in various university departments of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, I express appreciation and gratitude for their valuable efforts and their effective presence in scientific, research, educational, and specialized service fields.
Undoubtedly, the prominent role of women in the rehabilitation system, mental health, and improving the quality of life of society is irreplaceable and decisive. Their commitment, empathy, perseverance, and humane outlook have always been an inseparable part of the university’s progress and the improvement of specialized services in the fields of rehabilitation and health.
I hope that with reliance on divine grace and inspiration from the luminous conduct of Fatimah al-Zahra (PBUH), we will witness greater blossoming of the university women’s capacities and their more impactful presence in the path of scientific development and service to the people.
