Dr. Hamidreza Khoramkhorshid, Vice-Chancellor for Education at the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, referenced government and university efforts to support students and said: In no country are educational, welfare, and dormitory services provided free of charge to students as in Iran, and this is a valuable opportunity for the growth and advancement of young people.

According to a report by the Web Day correspondent of the University, Dr. Hamidreza Khoramkhorshid, the Vice-Chancellor for Education at the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, during the welcoming ceremony for the new entrants of 1404, stated that the purpose of this session is to familiarize students with university officials and the educational environment. He said: This program has been organized for initial acquaintance and communication between students and university administrators, with the aim of facilitating your academic path in the coming years.
Adherence to educational regulations and disciplinary standards
He, referring to the role of the Educational Department in enhancing the quality of education, added: The university has clear rules for educational, research matters, and adherence to student conduct. Our emphasis is on order, quality, and compliance with educational regulations, and we will not tolerate any laxity in this regard.
Dr. Khoramkhorshid, sharing his personal experience of studying abroad, said: I completed my specialty training in the United Kingdom, and in none of the countries I have traveled to is such a high level of free services provided to students. On my very first day of studying abroad, I realized there was no free lunch offered, while in Iran, there are extensive educational, dormitory, and welfare facilities available to students at no cost.
Call to make maximum use of youth and study opportunities
He emphasized the value of youth and student life, saying: Youth and student years are not repeatable. Make the most of your time at the university for learning, personal and scientific growth, because these years will lay the foundation for your future path.
Addressing the students, the Vice-Chancellor for Education said: University faculty are scientific assets; while respecting them, benefit from their knowledge and experience in theoretical and practical fields. If you encounter problems in the educational process, first raise them in your academic group and, if necessary, inform the Graduate Studies Office or me.
In conclusion, Dr. Khoramkhorshid thanked the Cultural and Student Affairs Office for organizing the ceremony and wished the new students success. He added: I wish God’s grace for all of you, happiness, health, and success in your studies and life.
