The Chancellor of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, in a message on the occasion of Research and Technology Week, stated: Research Week is the reflection of the university’s scientific capabilities.
According to the University’s Webmaster Reporter, Dr. Seyed Ali Hosseini issued a message concurrent with Research and Technology Week. The text of the message is as follows:
“Research and Technology Week is a valuable opportunity to honor the worthwhile efforts of researchers, members of the faculty, graduate students, and all practitioners in the field of science and research who, with their determination, commitment, and creativity, pave the way for the country’s scientific progress.
I, while appreciating this important week, extend my warm congratulations and heartfelt gratitude to the researchers, professors, and researcher-students of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences. Undoubtedly, the effective role of the university in producing knowledge, developing applied science, and responding to national needs owes to your scholarly efforts.
The scientific and research activities of the university’s nine research centers, in the fields of social health, rehabilitation, aging, genetics, schizophrenia, and other related specialized areas, which align with the university’s mission and the national mandates, are conducting impactful and national research, marking the university’s distinguished standing in the country’s health system.
Furthermore, the strong presence of graduate students, who constitute about 60 percent of the university’s student population, is a valuable asset for the future of research, innovation, and scientific development of the university, and promises continued scholarly growth in the coming years.
It is hoped that by strengthening research infrastructure, expanding interdisciplinary collaborations, and supporting innovative ideas, we will witness a further elevation of the university’s standing in national and international arenas.
