In the meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, the university's most important research, educational, executive, and cultural programs were reviewed. The University Chancellor, while expressing appreciation for the efforts of colleagues, emphasized energy consumption management and readiness for conducting the psychiatry residents' promotion exam.
According to the report from the university's web correspondent, the meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences was held in the presence of Dr. Seyed Ali Hosseini, the University Chancellor, and the members of the Board. The most important educational, executive, research, and cultural topics and programs of the university were discussed and reviewed.
Appreciation for the Cooperation and Efforts of University Colleagues
At the beginning of the session, Dr. Seyed Ali Hosseini, while offering condolences on the martyrdom of the Leader and Imam of the Revolution, expressed his gratitude to all colleagues who participated in organizing the funeral ceremonies and accommodating pilgrims at the university and its affiliated centers.
He also appreciated the efforts of the colleagues in the Deputy of Medical Affairs and the university's medical centers who were stationed during these ceremonies at the Tehran Prayer Hall and made the necessary arrangements to ensure a better presence and role for the university.
The University Chancellor further referred to the visit of the Deputy of Economic Affairs of Tehran Province to the university and his inspection of the pilgrim accommodation process, expressing his thanks for the cooperation and assistance provided in this regard.
Explanation of the University's Research, Educational, and Cultural Programs
The Chancellor of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences continued by referring to the meeting of the University Research Council, stating: The establishment of the Comprehensive Rehabilitation Research Laboratory was discussed and approved by the members during the Research Council meeting. We hope that with the support of the Ministry of Health, we can bring this center into operation as soon as possible by consolidating the university's laboratories.
Dr. Hosseini also commented on the upcoming educational programs: The psychiatry residents' promotion exam will be held on July 23, and the necessary coordination and arrangements must be made to ensure the successful conduct of this exam.
In another part of his remarks, he announced the holding of a memorial ceremony for the Martyr Leader of the Revolution at the university, adding: This ceremony will be held at the university on July 19 at 10:00 AM, and I invite all colleagues to participate in this spiritual event.
Emphasis on Energy Consumption Management
Considering the rising temperatures, the Chancellor of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences emphasized the necessity of managing and saving energy consumption, stating: It is essential for all deputy offices, units, and university colleagues to seriously place energy consumption management on their agendas and implement maximum savings in this area.
