The Chancellor of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, at the ceremony honoring Nurses' Day held at Razi Psychiatric Center, congratulated the birth anniversary of Hazrat Zainab (PBUH), described the efforts of nursing staff, especially in psychiatric wards, as a symbol of patience, expertise, and devotion, and expressed appreciation for the round-the-clock efforts of the nurses of this center.
According to the university's web correspondent, the ceremony honoring Nurses' Day was held in the presence of Dr. Seyed Ali Hosseini, the Chancellor of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, the Deputy Prosecutor for Public Rights of Tehran, Mehdi Pirhadi, a member of the Tehran City Council, treatment staff, and a group of the nursing community at Razi Psychiatric Education and Treatment Center.
At this ceremony, Dr. Seyed Ali Hosseini, congratulating the birth anniversary of Aqile Bani Hashem, Hazrat Zainab Kubra (PBUH), and Nurse's Day, stated: The naming of Nurse's Day in our country is deeply tied to the auspicious birth anniversary of Hazrat Zainab (PBUH), indicating that the work of this devoted group is rooted in the culture of sacrifice, selflessness, and lofty human and spiritual values.
Referring to the hardships and special sensitivities of nursing work in the university's affiliated centers, he added: The efforts of all our nursing colleagues across the university, and especially at Razi Psychiatric Education and Treatment Center, deserve the highest appreciation. Serving patients who, due to their particular internal conditions and illness, are unable to fully express their state and needs requires patience, deep affection, and special clinical skill, something that is achieved only through the selflessness of the nurses of this center.
