The 2nd National Congress and the 1st International Congress on Climate Change and Health will be held.
The 1st International Congress on Climate Change and Health, featuring prominent domestic and international professors and researchers in the fields of health and climate, will be held on the 8th-10th of Bahman at Dezful University of Medical Sciences.
According to the university’s website, this congress aims to examine the direct and indirect effects of climate change on human health, the health system, healthcare infrastructures, and preparedness against emerging environmental hazards. The main themes of this scientific event are:
- Climate change, health, and population aging
- Climate change, food security, and resilience of the health system
- Climate change and health
- Human activities, safety, and environment
- Climate change and health: strategies, diplomacy, and environmental policy
- Climate change and health: innovative technologies, artificial intelligence, geographic information systems (GIS), and remote sensing
- Climate change and health: planetary health risks and migration risks
- Climate change and health: women’s empowerment
- Climate change and the empowerment of physicians, nurses, and health professionals
