In a message on the occasion of World Occupational Therapy Day, the Chancellor described this profession as a manifestation of the effort to restore independence, dignity, and the active presence of individuals in society, and emphasized the pivotal role of specialists in this field in enhancing the health system.
According to a report by the University's Web-Day reporter, Dr. Seyyed Ali Hosseini, Chancellor of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, in a message, congratulated all esteemed professors, students, graduates, and specialists of this field on the arrival of the 5th of Aban, World Occupational Therapy Day.
In this message, Dr. Hosseini, referring to the selection of the 2026 global slogan Participation Matters, described this slogan as a reminder of the profound truth of health and well-being; a concept that does not depend solely on physical and cognitive abilities, but requires the possibility of an active, effective, and meaningful presence of every human being in family, social, educational, and professional roles.
