The Future of Iran Is in Your Hands
The Chancellor of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, in a message issued on the occasion of Student Day, praised the students of this university as an educated generation who, with courage and insight, have taken steps toward justice-seeking and independence, and declared that the country’s future is in their hands.
According to the report by the Web Desk of the university, Dr. Seyed Ali Hosseini, Chancellor of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, in a message on the occasion of Azar 16th (Student Day), while commemorating this historic day, referred to the university’s students as a wing of aware and educated generations who stand against imperialism and despotism with awareness and courage, raising the banner of independence and justice-seeking.
The message states: “Azar 16th, Student Day, is a golden page in Iran’s contemporary history and a memorial of the heroic acts of an educated generation that, with courage and insight, raised the banner of justice-seeking and independence in the face of imperialism and despotism. This day reminds us of a pivotal moment when the aware students of Iran, with a deep understanding of the country’s delicate conditions, added a new chapter to the book of freedom and resistance in this land. Student Day is an opportunity to revisit the epics of the Iranian nation in confronting foreign domination and to reflect once again on the historical identity and the mission of idealism and anti-imperialism that have ensured the awakening of this land for decades. This occasion echoes the steadfastness of the three Azars of the radiant dawn; youths who stood firm against foreign interventions and safeguarded the homeland’s independence.”
The Chancellor of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences then highlighted the prominent role of students in building a bright future for Iran, noting, “Today’s students, through learning and innovation, illuminate the country’s future. The future of rehabilitation, health, and the well-being of Iranians is in your hands, and this great responsibility reflects your lofty position in society.”
He also emphasized that the university is a house of thought and creativity, and that with the active and spirited presence of students, this environment has become a hub of hope and movement.
Dr. Hosseini, concluding with confidence that Iran, with the effort and perseverance of the younger generation, will reach a worthy scientific and social status, congratulated all the students of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences on this grand day.
