The Symposium Aging in Iran: What Is Each Association's Share to Be Held
The Director of the Aging Research Center at the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences announced the holding of the symposium Aging in Iran: What is Each Association's Share, with the presence of more than 40 scientific associations related to the fields of medicine and health.
According to the university's web correspondent, Dr. Ahmad Delbari, who announced the holding of the symposium Aging in Iran: What is Each Association's Share? with the presence of more than 40 scientific associations related to the fields of medicine and health, stated: This symposium, with the subtitle From Understanding the Problem to Joint Action for Healthy Aging, will be held on 8 Mehr 1405 from 9 to 12 at the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences.
He added: In this program, each scientific association has been asked to propose a priority issue in the field of aging and a specific and practical action corresponding to its specialized capacity. The goal is for the meeting to go beyond a one-time event and become a platform for defining roles and the formation of interdisciplinary collaborations.
The Director of the university's Aging Research Center, referring to the university's capacities in this area, said: This meeting also provides an opportunity to activate the university's capacities more effectively. The heads of educational departments, the directors of research centers, and the university's vice chancellors have been invited to present their proposals and capacities in the areas of education, research, services, and interdisciplinary activities.
Dr. Delbari listed the Aging Research Center, the Ardakan Cohort Study of Aging, the research and educational capacities of the departments, and the possibility of examining the design of a two-credit elective course on aging for students of various disciplines as among the capacities that can be utilized in this path.
