The Third Planning Meeting for implementing transformation programs in Medical Education was held.
The third planning meeting for implementing the transformation programs in medical education was held, with a focus on improving the quality of education, equity, and facilitation at the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences.
According to the university’s Web Daily correspondent, Dr. Hamidreza Khoramkhorshid, Vice Chancellor for educational affairs at the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, during the third planning meeting for implementing transformation programs in medical education, introduced the working groups of the transformation package in medical education and, noting the emphasis on quality improvement within these transformational packages, outlined the process for selecting the secretary and supervisor of the various working groups.
The Deputy for Education also stressed the importance of selecting members for each working group and the need to collect opinions and suggestions from the respective secretaries.
Subsequently, proposals were put forth to motivate members of the working groups. These included allocating a dedicated budget for the transformation package from the ministry, developing educational and research development plans related to education, and assigning compensation equivalent to two units of teaching load for the secretaries of the working groups and one unit for other group members.
It was also decided that the minutes of the university’s working group meetings would be sent to the Center for Studies and Development of Education at the university, and all documents and automation related to some of these working groups, which continue to operate within the Working Group for a Comprehensive Plan for Justice, Excellence, and Efficiency in Medical Education, would be transferred to the group secretaries.
