Department of Clinical Sciences
The Department of Clinical Sciences is one of the educational groups composed of medical faculty members from different specialties. This department was established in the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences (USWR), in year 1993. The department is active in different international and domestic educational purposes such as designing/teaching clinical courses, and participating in congress presentations, seminars, and workshops based on scholastic and up-to-date research approaches. With collaborations between faculty and students, research programs in different clinical and rehabilitation fields are implemented to escalate the rehabilitation services within the third level of prevention and treatment.
What is Clinical Sciences?
As medicine can be related to any human disease, the clinical group of medical sciences may be related to any rehabilitation issues. Clinical sciences at USWR are connected to most rehabilitation groups via lecturing, consulting, research, and most of all, medical remedies for most disabled patients.
Aims
The goal of medical integration into the rehabilitation disorder is to provide the utmost quality of care for disabled individuals. State-of-the-art therapy, based on teamwork, consists of all specialties involved in academic medical and rehabilitation sciences at the Department of Clinical Sciences.

Teaching
Department of Clinical Sciences emphasizes close contact between staff and students. Based on a fully integrated curriculum that combines self-directed learning opportunities with high-quality lectures and tutorials, all clinical and medical-related subjects are being instructed at the USWR undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Research within the pure medical subjects and joint subjects are areas of interest at the Clinical Sciences department.
