Department of Rehabilitation Management
The Department of Rehabilitation Management was established within the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences (USWR) in 1997.
The department is active in teaching theoretical and clinical subjects and is also intensely involved in research. Therefore, the faculty and students are continually engaged in a variety of research activities.
While many have graduated and moved on, numerous students are currently continuing their further studies in our department. In this world-class department, all staff members are committed to exemplary professional behavior, collaboration, and support.
The department welcomes national and international students at postgraduate levels.
What is Rehabilitation Management?
Rehabilitation Management is one of the most respected and important majors in the healthcare and rehabilitation industry.
This profession utilizes a wide range of integrated knowledge in management and rehabilitation; and is actively involved with the execution of rehabilitation system assessment, supporting rehabilitation caregivers and care providers.
With the rise of the need for rehabilitation administration across the world, this area of health care would have an excellent career prospect in clinical and academic fields.
Aims
The Rehabilitation Management Department aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of the students to direct and coordinate the rehabilitation system and manage the rehabilitation issues. Our vision is to prepare the highest quality education for rehabilitation management students in the region. Our mission is to equip students with the latest world knowledge of rehabilitation leadership and management. In addition, we aim to reinforce research in rehabilitation fields, system assessment, analysis, and problem-solving methods.

Teaching
The rehabilitation management department offers a master's degree and graduates will have the opportunity to join the Ph.D. program in Health Service Management, Health Information Management, Rehabilitation Counseling, Aging, Social Health Administration, and Addiction.
The department seeks to develop you into a confident and competent professional by delivering rehabilitation management training from the beginning of your course till the last day of your study. Students have full access to the comprehensive advanced resources, clinical training and teaching, library, and recreational facilities of the only rehabilitation university in the country and the region.
We aim to reach this claim by providing exposure to a varied range of rehabilitation management centers, clinical environments, and hospital wards.
Research
Research is the cornerstone of the Department of Rehabilitation Management. Our department has an internationally recognized research program in different areas such as leadership, administration, and management in different fields of rehabilitation such as elderly, handicapped, vulnerable people, etc.

As one of the oldest educational departments in the country with world-class academics and excellent clinical exposure, USWR Rehabilitation Management provides a wide range of theoretical and observational knowledge to get graduates ready to work in rehabilitation settings as allied health care professionals.
