Insights from Dr. Mohseni Bandpei on AI in Healthcare and Training Innovations in Pakistan
Dr. Mohammad Ali Mohseni Bandpei, Chair of the Physiotherapy Department and Research Center for Musculoskeletal Neuromuscular Disorders at the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, recently shared his insights from a trip to Pakistan where he delivered a keynote speech titled "Impaired Motor Control, Low Back Pain: An Updated Overview" at the "Advances in Allied Health Sciences" conference.
During his visit, he highlighted the impressive facilities at Lahore University, particularly the training simulation lab, which captured the attention of international visitors. This lab features highly realistic human-like models for student training, allowing for repeated practice and learning through trial and error. The simulator is designed to protect patient rights and ensure no harm comes to patients during training.
Dr. Mohseni Bandpei also participated in both the opening and closing ceremonies of the conference and visited the newly established 500-bed children's hospital on campus.
