Cooperation Agreement Signed Between the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences and Welfare Organization

To strengthen scientific, educational, and research collaborations among national scientific and executive entities, a cooperation agreement was signed between the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences and the Welfare Organization of Iran. This agreement aims to leverage shared capacities and improve services to the target community in various scientific and operational fields.

According to the university’s news reporter, the cooperation agreement on scientific, research, and educational collaboration was officially signed during a ceremony attended by Dr. Seyed Ali Hosseini, Chancellor of the USWR, Dr. Seyed Javad Hosseini, President of the Welfare Organization, and several deputies from both organizations.

Dr. Seyed Ali Hosseini emphasized the university's mission in training specialized professionals and underscored the importance of scientific collaboration among different entities. He noted, “Last November, a detailed meeting was held with the President of the Welfare Organization, culminating in the identification of 12 areas for joint activities between the university and the Welfare Organization.”

Dr. Seyed Javad Hosseini expressed his satisfaction with this collaboration and outlined the various focal points of the agreement. He stated, “The areas of cooperation include student internships, conducting scientific tours, strengthening a volunteer network centered around students, research and needs assessments, organizing scientific and educational conferences, establishing model centers, and designing rehabilitation technologies and equipment.”

He further emphasized the significance of the aging sector to the Welfare Organization, asserting, “The University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences can provide substantial assistance to the organization in this area.”

Dr. Hosseini also highlighted the Welfare Organization's human resource capacities, mentioning, “One of our significant strengths is the utilization of 300 military conscripts, 90% of whom are graduates of the USWR, possessing the necessary knowledge to operate in these fields.”
