Increasing scientific and research collaborations between the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences (USWR) and the University of Life Sciences and Applied Sciences (UBAS) in Lahore
On Tuesday November 26, the office or International Affairs at USWR hosted Guests from Pakistan.
Dr. Mohammad Ali Mohseni Bandpei, Vice-Chancellor for International Affairs at USWR, stated, "Following my trip to Lahore and the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the universities there, we hosted representatives from UBAS yesterday to expand our collaborations."
Dr. Mohseni Bandpei added that Professor Syeda Arooj Fatemeh, Head of the Physiotherapy Department at the Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences at UBAS, emphasized the importance of conducting joint educational and research activities between the two universities during the meeting.
The head of the Research Center for Rehabilitation of Neuromuscular Skeletal Disorders at USWR noted that collaborative efforts in the field of rehabilitation, particularly in physiotherapy, will continue to grow.
The Vice-Chancellor for International Affairs specified that joint educational and research meetings, journal clubs, online teaching, and educational webinars were among the agreements reached during this meeting.
He also mentioned that necessary agreements have been made regarding entrepreneurship and innovation, with both parties emphasizing the expansion of scientific and educational partnerships by leveraging their potential capacities.
Dr. Mohseni Bandpei stressed that increasing collaboration with foreign universities will enhance the university's ranking in terms of accreditation and overall ratings.
