Message on Book Week and Librarian Day
The Chancellor of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences issued a message on the occasion of Book Week and Librarian Day, commending the tireless efforts of librarians and emphasizing the importance of honoring books and knowledge.

According to a report from the university's news agency, Dr. Seyed Ali Hosseini, the Chancellor of the USWR, issued a message for Book Week and Librarian Day. The message states:
I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to all students, professors, researchers, and especially our dedicated librarians at the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences on the occasion of Book Week and Librarian Day.
Books serve as windows to knowledge, awareness, and an endless realm of thought and creativity. In this era of rapid advancement and expanding digital horizons, nothing can replace the joy of reading printed books and accessing the vast intellectual and cultural worlds of humanity. As Imam Ali (peace be upon him) wisely stated, “Read books, for reading increases wisdom and knowledge.”
I sincerely commend our librarians, who tirelessly promote the culture of reading and support the academic and research community. Your guidance and provision of scientific resources are invaluable in enhancing the academic and cultural standards of our society.
During this week, as we honor the significance of books and reading, I encourage all colleagues and students to strengthen the culture of reading and optimize the use of scientific and research resources, continually advancing the growth and scientific progress of our community.
Looking ahead, I hope to see the development and enhancement of library spaces, improved access to new resources, and better facilities for reading and research at our university.
I wish success and continuous progress to all those dedicated to the world of books and reading, especially our esteemed librarians, who are at the core of this movement.
