 The efforts of orthotics and prosthetics specialists are instrumental in empowering individuals with disabilities and enhancing their overall quality of life. This sentiment was highlighted in a message from Dr. Seyyed Ali Hosseini, the Chancellor of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences (USWR), on the occasion of Orthotics and Prosthetics Day.

According to a USWR reporter, Dr. Hosseini issued a congratulatory message to mark the day, stating:

"The 16th of Esfand (March 6th), Orthotics and Prosthetics Day, is an opportunity to recognize the tireless efforts of specialists in this field who play a significant role in improving the quality of life for patients and promoting the health of society. Utilizing modern technologies, this specialized field assists in rehabilitating and improving function for individuals with physical disabilities and is recognized as a key pillar of the health and rehabilitation system."
